Description
This is a NEW Honeywell replacement Water Heater Gas Control Valve. It is rated at 1/2" NTP Inlet x 1/2" inverted flare outlet with a 4.0" WC regulator setting. This valve may only be used for Natural Gas. It replaces the old part numbers listed below.
The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion. They have a manual shut off.
