Description
This is a NEW Marvair 6 KW wall mount electric heat kit. It is used for Carrier/Bryant split HVAC systems. It is rated at 6.0 KW with 460/480 Volts. The kit includes the heating elements, a 3 Pole contactor, a 3 Pole Breaker, wiring with terminal ends attached and some misc components and hardware.
A heating element converts electricity into heat through the process of resistive heating. Electric current passing through the element encounters resistance, resulting in heating of the element.
