This is a brand new OEM Lennox Armstrong Ducane upgraded TXV Expansion Valve. It replaces the part numbers listed below.
The thermostatic expansion valve controls one thing only: the rate of flow of liquid refrigerant into the evaporator. This is achieved by monitoring temperature and pressure in the refrigerant system.
